PCS ORDERS CHECKLIST

Congratulations on your new assignment!


The following documents are required to receive your PCS orders. All documents can be email to the
23FSS/FSMPDRelocations@moody.af.mil organization box or hand carried to Bldg 105 Suite 125 (MPF).

PCSing CONUS

- CONUS TOUR ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS Will be included in the initial assignment notification email.  All personnel are required to review and complete all required items with-in the required suspense dates indicated in the instructions.

- Personnel Processing Codes (if applicable). They are 3 letter codes that require you to accomplish additional actions prior to orders being issued and/or out processing. If applicable, the PPC guide/description will be included in your initial assignment notification e-mail.

- Retainability (If applicable) If you need retainability for the assignment, you will print off the attached Retainability Memorandum and provide to the MPF/Reenlistment and Extension Section. The retainability must be completed within 30 days of receiving your initial assignment notification. Failure to complete the retainability in the required time line could result in cancellation of assignment.

- DD Form 1172 DEERS verification form. Must be turned in if you have dependents; obtained from MPF Customer Service.

-SGLV 8286, SGLI Retrieve from PRDA/ARMS.

- VRED (DD F 93) Retrieve from vMPF

PCSing OCONUS

- OCONUS TOUR ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS Will be included in the initial assignment notification email.  All personnel are required to review and complete all required items by the required suspense dates  indicated in the instructions.

- Personnel Processing Codes (if applicable) Page 2 of your assignment RIP. They are 3 letter codes that require you to accomplish additional actions prior to orders being issued and/or out processing. If applicable, the PPC guide/description will be included in your initial assignment e-mail.

-AF 1466 and 1466D Dependent Medical Clearance must be completed when taking an overseas accompanied tour, or if you are on the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Q-Coded. Member MUST contact MTF/EFMP Office (460-2069) to complete.

- Retainability (If applicable) If you need retainability for the assignment, you will print off the attached Retainability Memorandum and provide to the MPF/Reenlistment and Extension Section. -SGLV 8286, SGLI Retrieve from PRDA/ARMS.

- VRED (DD F 93) Retrieve from vMPF

- AF 965 Overseas Tour Election Statement for members with dependents.

- Medical/Dental/Immunization Clearance Must be completed by Dental Clinic.  These letters can be located on page 7 of the initial assignment briefing (OS to OS) in vMPF.
PCSing to KOREA

- KOREA TOUR ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS Will be included in the initial assignment notification email.  All personnel are required to review and complete all required items by the required suspense dates indicated in the instructions.

- Personnel Processing Codes (if applicable). They are 3 letter codes that require you to accomplish additional actions prior to orders being issued and/or out processing. If applicable, the PPC guide/description will be included in your initial assignment notification e-mail.

- Retainability (If applicable) If you need retainability for the assignment, you will print off the attached Retainability Memorandum and provide to the MPF/Reenlistment and Extension Section. - KAIP Worksheet Mandatory for all Korea assignments.

- Follow-On Request Members being assigned to a short tour, submit via vMPF, NLT 15 days after receiving initial notification of assignment. If not selected for a follow on, you will compete off the equal list at your short tour location.
