Official photos are by appointment only.

The 23rd Wing supports the following requests for official photos:
- Chain-of-command photos for leadership at the squadron-level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant).
- Award photos for winners at group-level and above.
Photos required due to mobility (PCS, Deployment, etc.). Passports for deployments falls under this category; customers must bring a valid Air Force Form 833 Multimedia Request form to receive support. Requestor information MUST be completed by the individual's Unit Deployment Manager, or the passport office. The individual requiring the passport/visa photos will be the accepter.


PLEASE NOTE: Per the 2020 SECDEF Memo, dated 14 Jul 2020, “Immediate Actions to Address Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunity in the military services,” photo requirements for promotion selection boards and selection processes pertaining to assignment, training, education, and command is prohibited. This includes any consideration for Developmental Special Duty such as First Sergeant, Instructor, Recruiter, etc. A photo requirement, as a mandatory document, in an application for retraining into any AFSC, consideration for any assignment, or educational opportunity are not in compliance with the SecDef memo.

Award winners and award programs such as First Sergeant of the Year, 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year, etc., do not fall into the category above. These photos are not used to select winners, the 1206s are, but are used to highlight winners at the different competition levels. Link to MyPers 12OAY:


Delivered Products
Electronic copies of official photos will be emailed to all requestors. Requestors requiring a printed copy should confirm the size prior to their appointment and provide written justification of the requirement.

Not all print requests will be accepted -- resources are limited, so prints cannot be guaranteed.

The studio is only equipped to print 2x2, 4x6, 3x5, 5x7 or 8x10 (in.) glossy prints.


Customer's Responsibilities
All studio appointments must ensure their uniform is ready and serviceable before their appointment. If the uniform is not ready by the scheduled time, you will be forced to reschedule for another day and time. It is your responsibility to ensure your uniform, badges, ribbons, devices and accessories meet or exceed your military service requirements, standards or instructions.
