MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Staff Sgt. Steven Smith, 23rd Aeromedical Dental Squadron dental technician, uses a dental mirror and dental probe for a routine dental cleaning on Airman 1st Class Edward Huffman, 822nd Security Forces Squadron member, here May 12. The dental mirror is used to separate the cheeks permitting the technician to see inside of the oral cavity, while the dental probe explores the holes, grooves and fissures of tooth surfaces to locate cavities.
