U.S. Air Force pilots assigned to the 74th Fighter Squadron demonstrate weapons capabilities with the A-10C Thunderbolt II by employing bombs, missiles, and the GAU-8/A Gatling gun at Grand Bay Bombing and Gunnery Range near Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Dec. 5, 2023.

The A-10C is designed for long loiter time, accurate weapons delivery, and austere field capability and survivability. The 74th FS trains regularly to ensure they’re ready to conduct close air support tasking orders anytime, anywhere.
