Pilots conduct CBRN flight training

A U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II pilot, assigned to the 23rd Fighter Group, zips his G-suit at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Jan. 5, 2023. The G-suit wraps around the lower abdomen and down both legs. As a pilot begins to experience higher G-force, the suit inflates to prevent blood from pooling in the lower portion of the body and ensure pilots maintain consciousness.
