Rescue training
Staff Sgt. William Lawson, 38th Rescue Squaron pararescueman, gains control of a protective sled used in the airdrop of the Hard Duck off the coast of Key West, Fla. An H-Duck is a fully-inflated zodiac raft that is dropped out of an HC-130 and can help PJ’s save valuable time during rescue efforts in the water. The 71st and 38th Rescue Squadrons also combined efforts to test the advanced rescue craft process, which involved deploying a personal watercraft. (U.S. Air Force photo Senior Airman Javier Cruz)
