MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Staff Sgt. James Kitchens, 71st Rescue Squadron HC-130P instructor loadmaster assists Senior Master Sgt. Gary Doug Perkins, 102nd RQS HC-130P instructor loadmaster as he deploys a refueling hose during ‘hot gas’ training. ‘Hot gassing’ involved fueling an aircraft while engines are still running in order to save time and allow the aircraft to quickly return to a mission area.
