The Landings at Moody: New homes available Published Dec. 6, 2010 By Sandra Carroll The Landings at Moody MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- This time last year, 50 families moved into 50 newly-completed homes in the Magnolia Grove neighborhood, which is part of The Landings at Moody. Magnolia Grove also celebrated the addition of a new park and soccer field. Of the first 50 homes in Magnolia Grove, 38 three- and four- bedroom homes were designated for junior NCOs, eight were designated for senior NCOs and four were designated as command homes. At that time there were no immediate plans to complete any more homes. However, due to a change in construction scope, Moody was offered the opportunity to complete an additional 31 homes. Six have been filled and the remaining 25 homes are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. All 31 homes slated for completion this year are designated as senior NCO and officer three- and four-bedroom homes. Through privatization, The Landings was also able to complete renovations on the existing 300 homes in Quiet Pines. Duplex-style homes received new roofs, new windows and new air conditioning units. The townhomes received interior upgrades such as new appliances, carpet, vinyl, French doors and refinished hardwood floors. If you are looking for a new place to call home, now is the time to contact The Landings. The Landings at Moody is an A- List awarded community geared to the unique needs of our military families. The Landings has also developed strong partnerships with Moody because we aim to provide the best possible customer service for their residents. We provide a network of information to help residents make contact with the right offices at Moody to meet their needs. In addition, the staff of The Landings takes their jobs seriously and operates with pride to strive for excellence in customer service to our military families. This year, residents participated in a survey held through September and October. This survey was an opportunity for residents to evaluate their living experience here. Based solely on feedback from their current residents, The Landings at Moody has been awarded two "A-List Awards for Customer Service Excellence" this year. The "A-List Awards for Customer Service Excellence" recognizes companies who achieve a "best in the industry" rating for providing the highest level and quality of service from a compilation of customer satisfaction survey data from thousands of properties. The staff at The Landings is acutely aware the successes they are achieving are due to the support of their residents, base leadership and the HMO, for which they are very grateful. The new homes that have been completed, paired with the resident's evaluation of their living experience, are positive proof that privatized housing is working at Moody. If you currently live in the local area and have never lived in privatized housing, you may qualify for a paid move.
