Healthy recipe: Banana-strawberry smoothie

The Health and Wellness Center dietician provides a series of seasonal recipes for each month. April's recipes are based on strawberries.

2 ripe small bananas
1 cup frozen, unsweetened whole strawberries
8 ounces light vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup fat-free milk

How to make it
1. Peel bananas and cut into chunks. Place banana chunks, frozen strawberries, yogurt and milk in blender container.
2. Cover blender and blend on high speed about one minute or until mixture is smooth. Turn off blender. Pour drink into 2 glasses and garnish with strawberries.

Total preparation time: 5 minutes
