MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The Medical Group Pharmacy will provide modified services to all eligible beneficiaries beginning 13 Apr 20. In accordance with Defense Health Agency (DHA) guidance, the best and safest option during this time is to switch your prescriptions to home delivery. For urgent medication needs, beneficiaries are encouraged to use retail network pharmacies in the community. As we resume our limited services, please consider signing up or continuing to use home delivery or retail network pharmacies if you have the financial resources to weather this challenging time and reserve the Medical Group’s limited ability to expeditiously and safely serve beneficiaries for those experiencing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

A few extra tips to help us all get through this unprecedented time:
- In order to limit trips to any pharmacy, remember that standard TRICARE refill policies allow prescriptions for most non-controlled medications to be refilled or renewed when 25% of your current prescription is remaining.
- Your provider can relay your prescription needs to any pharmacy you prefer. To find out which pharmacies are in the TRICARE network, visit https://militaryrx.express-scripts.com/find-pharmacy. In the Valdosta area, all pharmacies with the exception of CVS are in the TRICARE network.
- When filling prescriptions at network pharmacies, ensure you provide them with your TRICARE information to utilize the pharmacy benefit appropriately.
- Many network pharmacies have prescription drug programs with websites and applications that assist in finding the best price for a medication.
- ExpressScripts pharmacists are available 24/7 to answer questions, offer counseling and support, and assist with prescription orders at 1-877-363-1303.
Your health and wellness and the safety of our patients and staff are our highest priorities. Thank you in advance for your patience while we all follow our government and local health directives to “flatten the curve” while maintaining risk balanced operations.
