Grand Bay Bombing and Gunnery Range is issuing its periodic official notice of the daily range operations to those individuals who reside near and use the wildlife management range property. The notice is also to all range users regarding personal safety while on range property.

Military aircrew and ground personnel regularly use Grand Bay Range Monday through Friday for tactical air and ground maneuvers and weapons training.

Local residents will observe military aircraft maneuvers, flight patterns and varying altitudes associated with military training and air-to-ground and airdrop activities while approaching and departing the range.

Range management urges all range visitors and recreational users to be aware of hazardous materials and potentially dangerous objects that might be found on the range.

Do not pick up or handle objects encountered nor enter any vehicle located on the range. If one finds any objects, contact range personnel at (229) 257-3510 or (229) 257-2765.
