With the help of a personal trainer at the Freedom I Fitness Center, an Airman from the 824th Security Forces Squadron placed in a Supernatural Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition April 11 in Gainesville, Ga.

Senior Airman Rodney Bryant, 824th SFS fire team leader, won second place in the Novice Men's Heavyweight and third place in the Open Men's Tall categories. He competed against more than 60 bodybuilders.

For approximately three months, one of Moody's personal trainers, Charles Gloster, helped prepare Airman Bryant as well as Valdosta State University student Gerville Harlequin, through working out, dieting and lifestyle improvements.

Through training and with Mr. Gloster's assistance, Mr. Harlequin won first place in the Open Men's Tall and second place in the Novice Men's Middleweight categories.

"There is nothing more valuable than a person's health," said Mr. Gloster. "As Moody's personal trainer, I assist individuals to improve and maintain their fitness so they can be fit to fight.

"Bodybuilding is an elite type of training," he added. "It is physically as well as mentally demanding. I felt a sense of accomplishment when Rodney and Gerville both placed in the competition."
