The Moody education office held its quarterly education fair at the Exchange on Oct. 5 to educate base personnel of the benefits and programs college schools offer on base.

The fair had six booths set up to give members a wide range of schooling options to look into, whether they want to complete their Community College of Air Force degree, receive GI bill information or just further their education.

"We want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to get the best information possible and for them to understand what we offer at the education center," said Shalarie Montgomery, 23rd Force Support Squadron education guidance counselor. "To make sure we reach as many people as possible, we change the location of where we hold the fair so we reach the whole base populous instead of just a single group. This time we held it at the Exchange."

Each school had an informational booth set up with a list of courses available through their school and an expert available to answer any questions.

"I stopped by the education fair because I wanted to talk to someone about finishing my CCAF, which is one of my goals before I make staff sergeant," said Senior Airmen Zachariah Earle, 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron supply section. "I'm also looking at getting my degree as well, so getting this information was very helpful."

The fair was open to all team Moody members to include active duty, retirees, dependents and civilian contractors looking for courses to further their knowledge.

The Moody education office is connected to the base library and offers a number of schooling opportunities to all team Moody members.
