 The following information is a summary of nonjudicial punishments given by commanders under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice from Sept. 15 to Oct 14. The punishments are determined based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case.

An airman first class from the 23d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron failed to obey a lawful order by wrongfully huffing a household chemical. For this offense, the airman first class received a reduction to airman, a suspended reduction to airman basic and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 23d Comptroller Squadron failed to go to their appointed place of duty, failed to show up for training, and made false official statements regarding the missed training. For these offenses, the airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, was restricted to the limits of Moody Air Force Base for 30 days and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 23d Equipment Maintenance Squadron failed to correctly follow a Technical Order. For this offense, the senior airman received a reduction to the grade of airman first class and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 23d Logistic Readiness Squadron behaved disrespectfully towards a superior commissioned officer. For this offense, the senior airman received a reduction to airman first class, suspended reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 23d LRS was absent without leave from their place of duty. For this offense, the airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 23d LRS was absent without leave from their place of duty. For this offense, the airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 347th Operations Support Squadron failed to go to their appointed place of duty. For this offense, the staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to senior airman, forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 822d Base Defense Squadron failed to refrain from providing alcohol to a minor. For this offense, the senior airman received a suspended reduction to airman first class, forfeiture of $435.00 pay and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 822d BDS wrongfully possessed alcohol while under the legal drinking age for Georgia. For this offense, the airman first class received a suspended reduction to airman, forfeiture of $389.00 pay and a reprimand.

The following information is a summary of administrative discharges executed under AFI 36-3208, Administrative Separation of Airmen, in August. The discharges are determined based on the individual facts and circumstances of each case.

Former Service members forego the following benefits given the specific discharge service characterization:

- Under Honorable Conditions (General): GI Bill, Civil Service Employment Preference
- Under Other Than Honorable (UOTHC): GI Bill, Civil Service Employment Preference, Mileage, Payment for Accrued Leave

A senior airman from the 823d BDS was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions including failure to pay just debts, failure to show at their appointed place of duty and mandatory appointments, and a physical altercation with their spouse. For these offenses, the senior airman received a General service characterization.

An airman first class from the 23d Component Maintenance Squadron was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions including violation of a lawful order, failure to show to their appointed place of duty, dereliction of duty and disobeying a NCO. For these offenses, the airman first class received a General service characterization.

An airman from the 23d AMXS was discharged for drug abuse for huffing a household chemical. For this offense, the airman received a General service characterization.

An Airman from the 23d EMS was discharged for minor disciplinary infractions including absenting himself from his place of duty, wrongfully using a synthetic drug commonly known as "spice," and larceny. For these offenses, the airman received a General service characterization.

A staff sergeant from the 23d Civil Engineering Squadron was discharged for failure to maintain minimum fitness standards. For this offense, the staff sergeant received an Honorable service characterization.

A staff sergeant from the 23d CES was discharged for failure to maintain minimum fitness standards. For this offense, the staff sergeant received an Honorable service characterization.
