  • Playground construction comes full swing

    The 23d Force Support Squadron (FSS) is currently reconstructing the Moody Inn playground, slated for completion, Jan. 26, here. The 23d FSS rebuilt and designed the new playground to improve quality of life and safety for Team Moody families.
  • DFAC services: bringing the heat, feeding the force

    When it comes to winning a war, victory can fall on which “army’s” troops are fed. To feed an Air Force, the Dining Facility (DFAC) Airmen bring the heat to their battleground: the kitchen. Through teamwork, adaption and striving for excellence, the Georgia Pines DFAC Airmen are able to ensure Team Moody is fed and ready to finish the fight.
  • Moody kicks-off Angel Tree event

    The Airman & Family Readiness Center kicked off the annual Angel Tree event, a donation drive which raises gifts for children of Moody Airmen, Nov. 27, here. Each year, community members pull ornaments from the Christmas trees located at the Base Exchange and the Freedom 1 Fitness Center with a child’s description and their desired gift, and purchase the gift to be given anonymously.
  • Airmen feast at DFAC Thanksgiving

    Team Moody came together for a Thanksgiving Day meal in the Georgia Pines Dining Facility, Nov. 23, 2017, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The meal was an opportunity for Airmen, retirees, dependents and leadership to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
