Team Moody prepares, departs for Ready Tiger 24-1

U.S. Air Force Maj. Tyler Ribar, 74th Fighter Squadron A-10C Thunderbolt II pilot prepares for take-off during Exercise Ready Tiger 24-1 at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, April 9, 2024. The 23rd Fighter Group directs the flying and maintenance operations for the U.S. Air Force’s largest A-10C fighter group, consisting of two combat-ready A-10C squadrons and an operations support squadron. The group ensures overall combat training and readiness for over 90 pilots and 180 support personnel. Built upon Air Combat Command's directive to assert air power in contested environments, Exercise Ready Tiger 24-1 aims to test and enhance the 23rd Wing’s proficiency in executing Lead Wing and Expeditionary Air Base concepts through Agile Combat Employment and command and control operations.
