Team Moody prepares, departs for Ready Tiger 24-1
A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 23rd Maintenance Group prepares an A-10C Thunderbolt II for take-off during Exercise Ready Tiger 24-1 at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, April 9, 2024. The group oversees the 23rd Wing's maintenance training program and ensures the workforce qualification and capability for worldwide development of personnel and cargo. During Ready Tiger 24-1, exercise inspectors will assess the 23rd Wing's proficiency in employing decentralized command and control to fulfil air tasking orders across geographically dispersed areas amid communication challenges, integrating Agile Combat Employment principles such as integrated combat turns, forward aerial refuelling points, multi-capable Airmen, and combat search and rescue capabilities.
