FARP tryouts test mental, physical strength
A U.S. Airman assigned to the 23rd Logistic Readiness Squadron rolls a hose during the forward area refueling point team at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Dec. 6, 2023. FARP is mainly designed for rotary wing assets because their burn rate while idling is lower than fighter aircraft and such and they hold a lot less fuel enabling more aircraft to be refueled.
