Comms prove crucial to mission success

A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 23rd Wing breaks down the primary location for the Wing Operations Center during the Mosaic Tiger 24-1 exercise Nov. 16, 2023, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The exercise tests several concepts, but it placed an emphasis on mission command and its core fundamentals – centralized command, distributed control and decentralized execution. Mosaic Tiger 24-1 specifically challenged communications Airmen to quickly set up, break down and move the WOC to an alternate location with minimal disruption to operations.
