Firefighters showcase capabilities

Chief Master Sgt. Lawrence Twitty, 23rd Fighter Squadron senior enlisted leader, uses cutters for a vehicle extrication demonstrating during an immersion at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Oct. 17, 2022. The cutter is strong enough to cut through sheet metal and hard plastic and is used on vehicles to free trapped passengers to minimize further injury. The immersion provided insight on firefighters’ training requirements to give leadership the knowledge needed to better support their Airmen. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Deanna Muir)
