U.S. Air Force Capt. Taisiya Dulin, 23rd Medical Group optometrist, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, administers a Pfizer vaccine at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia, Aug. 28, 2021. Volunteers received training on vaccine administration. The vaccine is administered into the deltoid muscle due to the blood flow, the number of dendritic cells and because it provides a localized reaction area.
