First Moody Airmen to become Guardians take oath
Technical Sgt. Nicholas Stoneking, 336th Recruiting Squadron client systems supervisor, places patches onto U.S. Space Force Spc.4 Matthew Fitzgerald during a U.S. Space Force oath of enlistment ceremony Feb. 9, 2021, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. U.S. Space Force Tech. Sgt. Joshua Hatch, Fitzgerald and three other deployed Guardians are the first to transition to the Space Force from Moody. These Guardians assumed the responsibility of acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power and organizing space forces to present to combatant commands.
