Flying Tiger descendants tour Moody

Tech. Sgt. William Chennault, left, and William Chenault, both descendants of Lt. Gen. Claire Lee Chennault, founder of the Flying Tigers, shake hands during a tour Nov. 5, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. Lt. Gen. Chennault was an aviator best known for his leadership of the Flying Tigers and the Republic of China Air Force in World War II. The Chenault family visited Moody to get a first-hand look at the Flying Tiger legacy. During the tour, the Chenault family witnessed the arrival of the Air Force’s new HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter, and they visited several places at Moody to include Heritage Hall, the President George W. Bush Air Park, and the 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Jasmine M. Barnes)
