23d Mission Support Group changes command
Col. Kyle Head, 23d Mission Support Group commander, assumes command of the 23d MSG during a change of command ceremony July 23, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. In order to stay within Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health guidelines, the passing of the guidon was replaced by the symbolic movement of the guidon from commander to commander. The ceremony is a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of a unit’s authority and responsibility from one commander to another. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Hayden Legg)
