Land navigation keeps Airmen on course
An Airman assigned to 105th Base Defense Squadron stands in mud during land navigation training March 3, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The 105th BDS Airmen from Stewart Air National Guard Base, New York, complete this objective as a part of their Initial Qualification Training. The 105th BDS Airmen train with active duty counterparts in order to sharpen skills, such as land navigation, and maintain proficiency in pinpointing and finding locations without the use of technology.
