476th FG ‘brings the heat’ to UTA weekend
Lt. Col. Brandon Kelly, 476th Fighter Group commander, awaits takeoff Feb. 8, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. During the Unit Training Assembly weekend, the members of the 476th FG came together to execute the generation of 18 A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft sorties to support the 76th Fighter Squadron. The 476th FG is an Air Force Reserve associate unit linked to the 23d Fighter Group, and integrates its operations with the 23d Wing's 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons and 23d Maintenance Group. During World War II, the 76th FS was one of the three original Flying Tiger squadrons of the 23d FG. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Erick Requadt)
