EOD Airman responds to simulated UXO
Staff Sgt. Trenton Broxterman, 23d Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team member, ties rope to a shovel during upgrade training Jan. 14, 2020, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. Broxterman led a team to respond to a simulated unexploded ordnance discovery and completed tasks to safely identify and dispose of the ordnance. Broxterman used a shovel as leverage to remove the simulated UXO at the same angle as the angle of entry. This training scenario was one of many Broxterman must complete to become a team leader.
