CLS course expands BDG Airmen skillsets
Airman 1st Class Ashely Schoolfield, 824th Base Defense Squadron fireteam member, fills out a tactical combat casualty card during the Combat Lifesavers Course Dec. 16, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The five-day course teaches students basic emergency medical technician skills, such as taking vital signs and stabilizing injured personnel. The CLS course equips 820th Base Defense Group members with knowledge to assist combat casualties until an independent duty medical technician can provide the patient with care.
