Vet clinic cares for Team Moody animals
U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Karla Lopez, animal care specialist assigned to Fort Gordon public health activity, tests a yeast sample for signs of infection Nov. 12, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The Moody Veterinary Treatment Facility is responsible for the care of both the 23d Wing and 93d Air Ground Operations Wing’s military working dogs as well as providing services for personally owned cats and dogs. The Soldiers and Airmen assigned to the facility provide services such as heartworm treatments, vaccinations and surgical procedures to ensure the well-being of Team Moody’s animals.
