23d MDG holds redesignation ceremony

Col. Tiffany Morgan, 23d Medical Group commander, covers the 23d Medical Operations Squadron guidon during a redesignation ceremony, Aug. 30, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The redesignation ceremony marked the transition of both the 23d Aerospace Medicine Squadron to the 23d Operational Medical Readiness Squadron and the 23d Medical Operations Squadron to the 23d Healthcare Operations Squadron. The redesignation was part of an Air Force-wide medical transformation directive to provide more effective and efficient ways to care for Team Moody Airmen and restore squadron readiness to execute the mission.
