An HC-130J Combat King II sits on the flightline, Aug. 13, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Airmen from the 71st Aircraft Maintenance Unit perform various tasks prior to takeoff to ensure the aircraft is performing optimally to complete its mission of supporting the 71st Rescue Squadron. Those tasks consist of: pre-flight inspection, removing plugs and cover, repairing any problems found during crew pre-flight checks as well as marshaling the aircraft for takeoff.
