Airman 1st Class Branson Bounds, 71st Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) crew chief, checks the pressure for a tire on an HC-130J Combat King II, Aug. 13, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Airmen from the 71st AMU perform various tasks prior to take off to ensure the aircraft is performing optimally to complete its mission of supporting the 71st Rescue Squadron. Those tasks consist of: pre-flight inspection, removing plugs and cover, repairing any problems found during crew pre-flight checks as well as marshaling the aircraft for takeoff.
