23d Wing changes command

Maj. Gen. Scott Zobrist, 9th Air Force commander, presents the 23d Wing guidon to Col. Daniel P. Walls, 23d Wing commander, as he assumes command during the 23d Wing change of command ceremony, May 31, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The ceremony is a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of a unit’s authority and responsibility from one commander to another. Walls is coming from Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, where he served as the commander for the 51st Operations Group for the 51st Fighter Wing.
