Aircraft fly in formation during a Celebration of Life ceremony honoring the late W. Parker Greene, March 14, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Mr. Greene was an Air Force advocate who was the patriarch of the relationship between Moody and the local community. He was also instrumental in keeping Moody active after it was identified for possible closure in 1991. His continued dedication to the installation resulted in him receiving the highest Air Force civilian honor, the Air Force Distinguished Public Service Award, twice.
