Military working dog ZIPPO retires
Staff Sgt. Lyndsay Gebhart, 23d Security Forces Squadron (SFS) military working dog handler, grooms military working dog ZIPPO during a retirement ceremony, Feb. 21, 2019, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. ZIPPO was assigned to the 325th SFS at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fl. in Nov. 2011, as a patrol/explosive dog. During his eight years on active duty, he’s deployed to Saudi Arabia twice and supported four United States Secret Service missions where he provided security for the President and Vice President of the United States.
