23d MSG welcomes new commander
Col. Jennifer Short, 23d Wing commander, left, presents a guidon to Col. Brian Stumpe as he assumes command of the 23d Mission Group during a change of command ceremony, July 25, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Prior to assuming command, Stumpe was the Director of Installations for U.S. Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT), Al Udeid AB, Qatar. He will take command of the 23d MSG, which is comprised of six squadrons with approximately 1,500 personnel dedicated to training, equipping and deploying personnel support forces to build, protect and sustain air bases worldwide for combat air operations.
