Leadership from the 93d Air Ground Operations Wing congratulates Col. Benito Barron, 820th Base Defense Group (BDG) commander, after he assumes command of the 820th BDG during a change of command ceremony, July 12, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The ceremony represents the formal passing of responsibility, authority and accountability of command from one officer to another. Barron, who recently relinquished his duties as the Chief of the Homeland Defense and Protection Division for Headquarters United States Northern Command, will now command the 820th BDG.
