820th BDG continues legacy of defense
Airmen from the 820th Base Defense Group (BDG) stand at parade rest during a change of command ceremony, July 12, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The ceremony represents the formal passing of responsibility, authority and accountability of command from one officer to another. Col. Benito Barron, 820th BDG commander, who recently relinquished his duties as the Chief of the Homeland Defense and Protection Division for Headquarters United States Northern Command, will now command the 820th BDG. The 820th BDG is the Air Force’s only unit specifically designed to provide fully integrated defense operations. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Erick Requadt)
