Bio Flight trains to fight biohazards

Eric Olson, 23d AMDS bioenvironmental engineer, read instructions for a hand held assay (HHA) during biohazard readiness training, Jan. 12, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. A HHA distinguishes whether or not the sample is a deadly protein. This process of going through the instructions ensures standardization of sampling. The Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight tested their response capabilities in a simulated contamination scenario.
