Veterans in Blue: MSGT Ret. Paul W. Dunning
Master Sgt. (Ret.) Paul W. Dunning poses for a photo, May 9, 2017, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Dunning received his draft notice in October 1968 and had full intentions of joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon registration he was persuaded by a recruiter to join the Air Force and began his career as a tactical aircraft maintenance specialist. Dunning retired in 2002 and began crewing aircraft as a civilian which he still does. Over the years, the uniforms and names of the company have changed, but the job Dunning does has remained the same. He’s been crewing aircraft for 33 years and still loves it.
