Maj. Gen. Zobrist visits Fort Drum

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Richard Fournier, 20th Air Support Operations Squadron (20th ASOS) commander, briefs Maj. Gen. Scott J. Zobrist, 9th Air Force commander, on the 20th ASOS’s mission, Oct. 10, 2017, at Fort Drum, N.Y. Airmen spoke to Zobrist about the challenges and successes they’ve had while assigned to an Air Force squadron on an Army installation, and gave him a tour of the facility. The 20th ASOS advises the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) on all aspects of air operations on the battlefield and integrate airpower into the Army scheme of maneuver.
