Airmen hone joint capabilities at Green Flag-West
An A-10C Thunderbolt II from the 74th Fighter Squadron launches in support of Green Flag-West, Jan. 12, 2017, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Green Flag-West is an air-land integration exercise that the Air Force conducts with the U.S. Army. To hone their joint interoperability, the Army will conduct large-force exercises from the ground at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., while the Air Force provides close air support to support these training objectives at Nellis AFB, Nev.
