U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Daniel Cassidy, 723d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron electronic warfare journeyman, removes flares from an HC-130J Combat King II, Aug. 17, 2016, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. During post and pre-flight inspections, electronic warfare specialists are responsible for ensuring moisture accumulated during flight doesn’t affect the large area infrared counter measure system.
