U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Kelly, Ninth Air Force commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Frank Batten, Ninth AF command chief, view a remembrance case of fallen pararescuemen Senior Airman Jason Cunningham at the Airman Leadership School Aug. 31, 2015, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Kelly was providing overwatch in an F-15E Strike Eagle when Cunningham’s helicopter crashed in 2002. Moody dedicated its ALS to Cunningham, who was assigned to the 38th Rescue Squadron when he was killed in action during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan.
