Immunizations
Are you up-to-date on your immunizations? Vaccines produce immunity and help protect service members, civilian personnel and families from diseases. These illnesses may be contracted many different ways including consuming contaminated food or water, being bitten by an infected mosquito or coming in direct contact with an infected person. Immunizations provide a safe and effective way of preventing threats to personal health, which leads to enhanced mission readiness. (U.S. Air Force illustration by Airman 1st Class Kathleen D.
