Sorting machine

A haemonetics machine sorts the blood of U.S. Air Force Capt. Nicholas Gumley, 93d Air Ground Operations Wing comptroller, during a blood drive July 22, 2015, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. The haemontics separates plasma from red blood cells and returns the plasma back to the donor. As a result of the retuned plasma, the donor can donate more blood during that session.
