Celebrating crime prevention

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The 23rd Security Forces Squadron is set to kick off this year's Crime Prevention Month by hosting various services and activities throughout October. According to the National Crime Prevention Council, October was designated as the Crime Prevention Month in 1984 as a way for communities to promote safety, volunteerism and issues such as victimization.
