Helo maintenance

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Tait Delzer, 64th Expeditionary Helicopter Maintenance Unit crew chief, screws in straps that hold in the drive shaft cover of an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter here, March 12. A team of Balad crew chiefs performed an inspection on the aircraft after it had been flown 300 hours to ensure all systems and components were performing correctly. Performing preventative maintenance measures is essential to keeping the helicopters functioning and flying. Sergeant Delzer is deployed from Moody Air Force Base, Ga.
