BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Senior Airman Derand Javier, 64th Aircraft Maintenance Unit weapons specialist, safety wires a component that feeds and de-links the rounds as they move through a minigun of an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter here, March 26. A minigun is an aircraft machine gun consisting of a rotating cluster of six barrels using 7.62mm ammunition and capable of variable rates of fire.
