Lt. Col. Greg Laffitte, 479th Operations Support Squadron operations officer, was recently recognized as the Air Force Field Grade Physiologist of the Year. Despite being a physiologist by trade, Colonel Laffitte has excelled in the role of a flying squadron operations officer - a position typically reserved for pilots.
